Folded, two-sided, indexed, tourist map of Kathmandu, Nepal at 1:25,000 scale (2.5 inches = one mile). Map shows highways, roads, trolleys, petrol stations, tourist information, hotels and restaurants, shopping areas, attractions, museums, monastaries, stupas, trails, elevations etc. There are many insets on the map including Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Thimi, Bhaktapur overview, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Dattatraya Square, Swayambhunath, Kirtipur, Pashupatinath, Bauddha Stupa, Pashupatinath. Legend is in English, German, Italian, French, Japanese and Nepalise.
Swiss based cartographer Arne Rohweder set up his company Gecko Maps about ten years ago. They publish road and trekking maps covering Southeast Asian countries such as Tibet, Nepal, Cambodia and Laos.
